Cocktail 4.1 (Leopard Edition) Released
On Thursday, shareware developer Maintain released version 4.1 of Cocktail (Leopard Edition), Cocktail, the popular shareware utility program that allows for additional Mac OS X system tests.
The new version, a 2.6 megabyte download, adds the following fixes and changes:
-System - Scripts. Addresses an issue in which the weekly maintenance script may fail to run properly.
-Files - Caches. Added support for clearing dynamic link editor's (dyld) shared cache.
-Files - Caches. Added support for Flock web browser.
-Interface - General. New "Use expanded Print and Save dialogs by default" feature.
-Interface - General. New "Do not keep Help window on top of all other windows" feature.
-Interface - Dock. New "Add Recent Items stack..." feature.
-Interface - Dock. New "Add spacer..." feature.
-Interface - Safari. New "Always show tab bar" feature.
-Interface - Safari. New "Open new windows in new tabs" feature.
-Interface - Safari. New "Disable form modification warning on close" feature.
-Interface - Safari. Fixed compatibility issues with Safari 3.1 or later.
-Interface - Mail. New "Do not display attachments in message" feature.
-Interface - Misc. New "Show Debug menu in iCal" feature.
-Interface - Misc. New "Show full toolbar in Screen Sharing" feature.
-Interface - Misc. New "Show Bonjour browser in Screen Sharing" feature.
-Updated Automator actions.
-Other minor bug fixes and interface improvements.
Cocktail 4.1 retails for a US$14.95 shareware registration fee and requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later to run.
