Mozilla Releases Thunderbird 2.0.0.14
Mozilla.org, creators of the Firefox web browser, has just released version 2.0.0.14 of Thunderbird, its free e-mail client. The new program, an 18.6 megabyte download, sports the following fixes and new features:
-MFSA 2008-15 Crashes with evidence of memory corruption (rv:1.8.1.13).
-MFSA 2008-14 JavaScript privilege escalation and arbitrary code execution.
Thunderbird 2.0.0.14 requires Mac OS X 10.2 or later to run and is programmed as a Universal Binary, allowing for native speeds on both PowerPC and Intel-based hardware.
