Samsung Offers Spinpoint Notebook Drive for Sale...in France

Ok, this is weird but hopeful.
According to Engadget, Samsung's 9.5 millimeter 500 gigabyte SpinPoint M6 SATA laptop drive is now available for sale in France.
No word has been given as to when it'll arrive in the United States (where I plan to buy one for my MacBook and then laugh at the memories of any file size restrictions), but the unit is currently retailing for €197 (or US$306).
Still, there's always a backup plan. I mean, you've always wanted to take your spouse on a trip to Paris, if only for the beautiful city, the food, the wine, the lights, the romance and the notebook hard drives...
