The Apple Core: First Look at the FastMac's U-Charge
PowerPage head honcho and all-around-nerd Jason O'Grady got his mitts on FastMac's U-Charge utility. The unit, which functions as a portable, standalone charger, is designed to connect directly to the battery's terminals in order to recharge them quickly and efficiently.
An added bonus: It's also compatible with nine years of Apple laptop batteries as well as after-market and third party replacements.
For the full details, check out the Apple Core and let us know what you think over in the comments or forums.
