The Apple Core: Handwriting Recognition En Route for iPhone
A recent look inside the private beta of Apple's upcoming iPhone Software 2.0 software has yielded something interesting: a handwriting recognition interface that may be en route as a feature.

Now they just need to make that available on the Multi-Touch trackpads on Macs... and maybe support Wacom's pads as well.
