Wireless Carrier TeliaSonera to Bring iPhone to Six European Countries

On Tuesday, wireless carrier TeliaSonera announced that it will sell Apple's iPhone handset in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. According to Macworld News, the carrier has yet to provide its finalized price points and has only stated that it will launch the iPhone "later this year".

Oddly enough, the inclusion of Scandinavia is another sign pointing towards an imminent launch of an iPhone model supporting 3G (technology. Introducing the current iPhone, which does not support 3G for faster mobile broadband, would not be wise in the advanced Scandinavian marketplace, according to Leif-Olof Wallin, an analyst at Gartner.

As always, let us know what you think over in the comments or forums.
