Steve Jobs Confirms That P.A. Semi Will Produce Chips for Apple Handheld Devices
A few months ago, we reported on Apple's somewhat unexpected purchase of chip maker P.A. Semi. According to the New York Times, today at the second keynote speech during the Worldwide Developer Conference event in San Francisco, Apple CEO Steve Jobs confirmed that the chip maker would, in fact, be making system-on-chip units for the iPhone and iPod lines.
