20 Countries Slated to Receive iPhone 3G in August

Apple's iPhone 3G handset will go on sale in no less than 20 countries this month according to Macworld UK with wireless carrier America Movil introducing the device in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay. Carrier Telefonica O2 will introduce the handset in no less than eight of the aforementioned countries, though America Movil will function as the iPhone's exclusive provider in Honduras and Paraguay.
The device will also launch through various operators in Estonia, the Czech republic, Hungary, India, the Philippines, Poland and Romania on August 22nd.
