Rumors Point Towards Nvidia-Equipped MacBook on October 14th

macbooks.jpg

Rumors of a new MacBook continued this weekend with chatter focusing around Nvidia employees being shown early prototypes of an Nvidia-powered MacBook notebook.

According to Macworld UK, Nvidia is allegedly demoing the notebook to its people as an example of the company's achievements with a new built-in graphics processor unit found on the notebook. The claim dovetails with a "MacBook-Like" image found over on the Nvidia web site, as reported by 9 to 5 Mac.

The report also echoes current consensus speculation that Apple will introduce its new MacBooks as soon as October 14th, news also recently claimed by Daring Fireball.

Other rumors have stated that the next generation MacBook will be manufactured via an all-new process.

Stay tuned for additional information as it becomes available and please let us know if you've heard anything over in the comments or forums.
