Techspansion Closes Its Doors, VisualHub, AudialHub and iSquint Discontinued

In a surprising announcement today, shareware company Techspansion, makers of some incredibly useful audio and video conversion utilities, announced that it will be closing its doors.
The following was found on the web site:
VisualHub, AudialHub, and iSquint have been discontinued....After much soul-searching (it's not you, it's me), for personal reasons, Techspansion is closing its virtual doors.
The Support Forum and Support E-mail will be available for a while longer to take care of any remaining issues for you. Thanks for all your support. It's been a fun ride.
I'm sorry to see this go and VisualHub has been one of the most useful pieces of shareware I've ever put on my Mac.
Still, there may be hope as users are clamoring for Techspansion's projects to live on as open source software over in the iSquint forums.
Let us know what you think over in the comments and forums and hopefully the Techspansion guys will be able to put out the same level of outstanding work on another project in the future.

This is a sad day for Mac software. These are vital for format conversions and they and lived up to the hype.
