Mozilla releases Firefox 8.0.1 update

Late Wednesday, Mozilla.org released version 8.0.1 of its Firefox web browser. The new version stands as a 30 megabyte download (via MacUpdate) offered the following changes:
- Fixes several JavaScript errors.
Firefox 8.0.1 requires an Intel-based Mac and Mac OS X 10.5 or later to install and run.
