You can’t knock a decent update.

OnyX, Titanium Software’s popular freeware multifunction utility for Mac OS X, has been updated to version 2.7.1. The new version, a 19 megabyte download, adds the following fixes and changes:
– Bug corrected in the Utilities > Applications pane.

– Keyboard Viewer in the Utilities > Applications pane.

– The opt folder can be shown/hidden now from the Utilities > Visibility.

– New replacement icon.

OnyX 2.7.1 requires an Intel-based processor and OS X 10.8 or later to install and run.

Apple releases updated Canon printer drivers for Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7, 10.8 operating systems

On Friday, Apple released its Canon Printers Drivers 2.12 package. The update, a 342.52 megabyte download, adds updated drivers for assorted Epson printers, scanners and multifunction devices.

The update requires an Intel-based Mac running Mac OS X 10.6.1 or later and can also be located, snagged and installed via Mac OS X’s Software Update feature.

Apple releases Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 4.07

On Friday, Apple posted its Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 4.07, an update designed to extend RAW image compatibility for the Aperture 3 and iPhoto ’11 applications.

The update, a 6.1 megabyte download, adds support for the following cameras:
– Panasonic LUMIX DMC-G6

– Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GF6

– Sony Alpha SLT-A58

The update requires an Intel-based Mac running Mac OS X 10.7.5 or later to install and run and is also available via Mac OS X’s built-in Software Update feature.

Delicious Library updated to 3.1

On Tuesday, software company Delicious Monster released version 3.1 of the shareware favorite, Delicious Library. Delicious Monster allows Macs with webcams to scan the bar codes of any book, movie, music CD or video game, then creates an archive based on background information from the Internet. Additional features help keep the library organized and reseller’s tools allow for items to be quickly posted for sale online.

The new version, an 80.7 megabyte download, adds the following fixes and changes:
– Localizations for: Afrikaans, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish.

– Added support for Amazon China.

– Table view size is controlled by the slider in the “View” menu.

– Significant performance improvements for collections with thousands of items and many of smart shelf rules.

– Search is *much* faster and more responsive.

– Delicious Library supports custom user templates for printing and publishing.

– Other improvements and bug fixes.

Delicious Library 3.1 retails for US$40 and requires OS X 10.8 or later to install and run.
