iphone5s The TSA’s going to want to take a closer look at your iPhone and notebooks on U.S.-bound flights. Per NBC News, The Transportation Security Administration will not allow cellphones or other electronic devices on U.S.-bound planes at some overseas airports if the devices are not charged and functional. The new measure is part of the organization’s effort to boost security amid concerns that Yemen-based al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula and the Islamist Nusra Front, al Qaeda’s affiliate in Syria, are plotting to blow up an airliner, U.S. officials said.

Apple hires Tag Heuer’s Patrick Pruniaux, could see boost for iWatch or retail ends

This could help with either the retail or the iWatch ends…

Per The Mac Observer, Apple has brought on Patrick Pruniaux, the former vice president of Swiss watch maker Tag Heuer.

Pruniaux’s first day on the job is Monday, albeit his current duties – and possible role on Apple’s much-anticipated iWatch project – have yet to be publicly defined.

Rumor: Apple to incorporate thinner, higher capacity batteries into upcoming iPhone 6 models

The next-gen iPhone’s battery could last that much longer.

Per Chinese web site IT168, Apple may be incorporating a 1,000 mAh battery in its upcoming 4.7-inch iPhone 6 model and a 2,500 mAh battery in the 5.5-inch model.

The end result could be a battery with a larger capacity, an increase of 60 percent from the iPhone 5s to the new battery for the rumored 5.5-inch iPhone 6.
