Touch Bar functionality arrives for Office for Mac suite

You can now use the 2016 MacBook Pro’s Touch Bar with Office for Mac.

Following a brief beta preview, Microsoft has rolled out Touch Bar functionality for the feature.

Originally announced less than 12 hours after the MacBook Pro launch, Touch Bar support is being added to all of the main Office apps, according to release notes for the productivity suite. Wider availability of the feature began on Thursday, just eight days after users enrolled in Microsoft’s beta testing program were able to try it out for the first time.

Apple announces WWDC dates, changes venue to San Jose location

If you’re a developer, this is a pretty big change.

Apple has announced that it will be holding its Worldwide Developers Conference from June 5th to June 9.

The big news is that the venue has changed from the Moscone Center in San Francisco to the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose.

At WWDC, Apple unveils the next major versions of its software operating systems. This year, expect the announcement of including iOS 11, macOS 10.13 as well as updates to tvOS and watchOS.
