Apple Pay to launch in Ireland on Tuesday

It looks like Apple Pay will arrive in Ireland this week.

The payment platform is expected to launch on Tuesday according to two sources close to the story.

In Ireland, Apple Pay will be supported by UlsterBank and KBC, both of which are multinational and have supported Apple Pay in other countries for some time now. Bank of Ireland and AIB are the biggest banks in Ireland with the latter supporting Android Pay.

Nintendo Switch JoyCon controllers usable on Macs, PCs and Android systems

You can use your new Nintendo Switch’s wireless controllers with your Mac.

The wireless controllers can be fully utilized by macOS. The units charge via USB-C and has a small Bluetooth pairing button next to the charging port atop the controller.

As expected, Nintendo’s JoyCon gamepads can connect to macOS as individual controllers. That means that even when attached to the Switch controller dock for a two-joystick experience, macOS does not recognize them as one controller.
