Apple Knowledge Base Article Acknowledges 15″ MacBook Pro Noise Issue

A report on a MacFixIt cites that Apple has acknowledged an issue wherein certain 15″ MacBook Pro laptops are emitted a high-pitched buzzing noise in a recently published knowledge base article.
This buzzing noise is sometimes coupled with vibration along the laptop’s surface that gives the impression that components may be rubbing up against one another.
The knowledge base article contains only the following content to date, despite Apple’s acknowledgement of the issue: “If your MacBook Pro (15-inch) emits a high-pitched buzzing sound, please contact AppleCare for service.”
