MacMinute reports that Apple will open its first retail store in Delaware this Saturday, October 16 at 10:00 a.m. The new Apple Store is located at the Christiana Mall in Newark. Like all Apple Store grand openings, 1,000 T-shirts and a Digital Lifestyle package valued at US$2,350 will be given away (package now includes an iMac G5).
Delaware is just a short drive south of Philadelphia and doesn’t have a state sales tax – especially important when buying high ticket items.
