Apple releases Epson printer drivers 2.15 for Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7, 10.8 operating systems

Never knock updated printer drivers, as they are your friend.

On Friday, Apple released its Epson Printers Drivers 2.15 package. The update, a 1.2 gigabyte download, adds updated drivers for assorted Epson printers, scanners and multifunction devices.

The update requires an Intel-based Mac running Mac OS X 10.6 or later and can also be located, snagged and installed via Mac OS X’s Software Update feature.

If you’ve tried the new driver updates and have any feedback to offer, please let us know in the comments.

Seems your Computer Name under Sharing System Preferences got cleared somehow. Change it to something reasonably short and restart. It should now print.

rastertoescpII.app filter failed after this update. Reset printing system and installing 2.14 did not help. Used with Artisan 810 AIO. Tried fixing permissions as well.

Thanks Genius, I just installed that update and it crashed my printing system. I get an errror rastertoecll quit unexpectanly when i try to print from my epson stylus nx400. Epson has been unable to help me so far and I have been on the phone with them for 45 minutes.
