Apple releases iOS 10.0.2 update, chases after headphone audio control, other bugs

Look at it this way: Bug fixes are a good thing.

On Friday, Apple released the iOS 10.0.2 update for its newly-released iOS 10 operating system.

The update, a 56.1 megabyte download, offers the following fixes and changes:

Addresses an issue that could prevent headphone audio controls from temporarily not working.

Resolves an issue that caused Photos to quit for some users when turning on iCloud Photo Library.

Fixes an issue that prevented enabling some app extension.

As always, be sure to back up your iOS device and You can install the update directly on your iOS device that’s connected to the internet. In the Settings app, tap Software Update, and the 10.0.2 update should appear. Tap Download and Install to start the process.

You can also update your iOS device by connecting it to your computer and then running the iTunes software.
