This is sort of interesting.
After years of stating that the Apple TV set top box was a “hobby”, this is really the first commercial that declares that the device is a serious thing. The new 30-second Apple TV spot takes a focused look at apps and changes to suit an array of different popular apps on the platform. One second, the chicken mascot from Crossy Road is bursting out of the Apple TV, while the next second sees the box turning into the iron throne from Game of Thrones.
The new device uses tvOS as its foundation, which has drawn more app developers to it.
