In case you can't tell, the PowerPage has gone all Mac mini, all the time. Technically it is a portable Mac, right? Although the Mac mini has only been marketed as a compact Mac, perhaps there's an implied usage much broader than many have written about.

Mini Ture_MacJournal has an interesting story about the Mac mini as an network appliance:

So we have an implied usage specification as broad as ever seen in the computer industry embodied within the Mac mini appliance because of its tiny configuration and design it can not only be used in Automobiles, also it can also be satisfactorily used in kitchens, in automated systems, in networking solutions, in home theatre and indeed as a lifestyle enhancing device.

Its 'mini' size and power defines the advantage. So many have followed the switcher analogy too closely and true there is a case there, but when we look very closely at the product and its performance, we see we have a graphics engine capable of many other appliance and device functions ready to go.
