Customers Queue for Apple Store Opening in Shinsaibashi

Happy New Year!

Mitsunobu Tanaka, Ph.D, a.k.a. KODAWARISAN reports that there were already 250 visitors in the queue at 6:00 a.m. for the Apple Store opening in Shinsaibashi Japan.

The first 1,000 lucky visitors will be getting a "Luck is in the Air" t-shirt which include a vague reference to wireless iPod earphones in the form of a dandelion.

Will All the AppleStore have the Goodie Bag today?

A quick clarification about the content of the original Japanese article on KODAWARISAN.com: I think the English phrase "Apple Store Opening" used on this page could be misinterpreted to be a grand opening. The original Japanese page refers to the first sale of the year (New Year's sale), not a grand opening. The Shinsaibashi store referenced in this article had its grand opening on August 28, 2004.
