Major Update to Daylite in the Wings
The PowerPage has confirmed that Marketcircle is prepping a major update to their Daylite business relationship management application for release on or around Macworld Expo next week. I've been using Daylite exclusively for one year and recommend it to anyone that needs to track people, projects, tasks and opportunities.
The new Daylite version looks to be a complete overhaul with several new features:
- Shared calendars
- Delegation
- Revised UI
- Built-in report writer
Figure 1: Daylite 3.0's Day View

Figure 2: Daylite 3.0's Estimate View

Figure 3: Daylite 3.0's Project View
No word yet on pricing for the next version, currently Daylit is US$149 per seat.

Does it have any form of iCalendar support?

as far as i am aware, it has it's own calendar, which can be multi-user aware. it will sync with address book, so it may sync with ical as well.

I will buy this the day it's released. From what I can see, I really like the clean interface, and the older-version Demo I've played with feels solid. I can only imagine that this is even better.

Sounds cool, but how about a Palm OS companion and a conduit to sync the data to my Treo so I can take it with me?

1st, the beta is posted on the website.
2nd, they had the courage to release it as a beta, vs Chronos releasing beta and refusing to say so.
3rd, it has Palm support
4th, I hope they'll release a less expensive "personal" version, but even at the $150, it is a much better bargain than Chronos' SOHO at $100

I've also been using Daylight for about a year and a half and it rocks. The new interface looks like it will solve any of the problems that I have with that app.
