I have been searching Apple’s Web site and posting all over the internet and haven’t been able to solve this problem – hopefully someone here can help.
Since installing Mac OS X I am unable to use a second display on my PowerBook G4 667 – the computer suddenly grinds to a complete halt without warning. I get the same problem when using the S-Video port plugged into a TV. It’s not frozen, just glacially slow (bringing up the “Force Quit Applications” window takes about five minutes).
Under 10.1 I removed an ATI GA plug-in and this solved the problem but after installing 10.2 this no longer helps. Anyone know what is happening and how to fix it?
