AT&T, which has recently folded in provider Cingular as the company’s mobile unit, claims that it has received about one million requests for information regarding Apple’s upcoming iPhone according to Chief Operating office Randall Stephenson on Tuesday at the CTIA wireless technology conference keynote.
A story on Reuters claims that while Cingular isn’t accepting advance orders for the phone, which is slated for release this June, a staggering number of visitors have gone to an information section on their web site to leave their e-mail addresses and receive additional information about the device.
