I tell ya, those Aussies know what’s up!
A couple of guys from Australia have copyrighted 100,000,000,000 phone number tones and will start charging businesses for using them. Every time you dial one of these numbers, you’re infringing on international copyright laws. It’s a slap in the face back at Corporate America.
No word yet on how much they’ll charge or what companies they’ll target first. You can check to see if your number has been copyrighted at their site. Thank God for the international copyright laws!
