The leaked screenshot says it all. It looks like iOS 12 will feature Night Mode, a series of menus specifying an unknown interface style, the light interface style, and the dark interface style.
This is interesting. Apparently, and via a linked Imgur video by a user going by the tag of “JesterLeBester”, multitasking events in iOS 12 can be closed out without having to hold the Home button on an iOS device. Here it is in action and it’s pretty nifty.
