With iOS 10.3, it’ll be easy to find your lost AirPod wireless headphones.

Apple is apparently working on an app in iOS 10.3 that can hone in on your AirPods’ wireless Bluetooth signal, provided it’s within range of an iOS device connected to an iCloud account. Like the Find My iPhone app, users will be able to tap “Play Sound” and both of your AirPods will begin to chirp.

If one is in your ear, the app gives you controls to mute the right or left earbud. If someone has borrowed your AirPods and that’s why they’re missing, the sound won’t pierce their ear drums, but the volume will gradually increase, so they’ll have to surrender the AirPods.

Apple’s AirPods have roared out the door and are getting good reviews, but there may be some battery issues to contend with for some users.

A number of users have reported that the charging case that comes with the headphones isn’t holding Apple’s advertised 24 hours of charge. In theory, the charging case should only lose noticeable amounts of charge when the AirPods are low on battery and recharging within the case, and when users flip the pack open to check battery levels or otherwise activate Bluetooth with a connected Apple device.

Users who’ve reported issues have stated that the AirPods case drains more than 40 percent of available capacity in only a few hours, with the AirPods at 100 percent inside and minimal Bluetooth activation.

The cool cats at iFixit have just published their full teardown of Apple’s new wireless AirPods along with the charging kit that arrives with the unit. Through the teardown, iFixit cites a multitude of closely knit components within the AirPods, along with a few “quality issues” within the charging case that may be the reason for the months-long delay of the wireless headphones.

The teardown began by separating the speaker portion of the AirPod from the rest of the device, uncovering a miniature coaxial cable and two IR proximity sensors, which allow the AirPods to detect whenever they’re inside an ear, and play/pause music accordingly.

iFixit cited a “waterfall of glue” inside the base of the AirPod that essentially surrounds the charging point for the unit.
