You’ve got to admit, this is impressive.

Jordyn Castor, 22, who was born 15 weeks early, weighed just under two pounds and who has been blind since birth, is now one of the lead engineers for Apple’s VoiceOver technology, codes on a Braille device and is working on Apple’s new Playgrounds project for iOS. Castor, who has been using computers since her parents bought her a desktop in second grade, was first introduced to the Mac at a Minneapolis job fair in 2015.

If you’re feeling brave, here’s the iOS 10 public beta.

After only two developer releases, Apple has released the public beta of iOS 10 into the wild for public testing.

Apple started letting the public into its iOS beta tests last year. Before iOS 9, you had to be a developer (and pay $99 for a yearly developer subscription) to test drive prerelease versions of iPhone software.

As of now, Apple has released the iOS beta to the public in order to receive feedback from regular users as opposed to strictly developers. The iOS 10 public beta will install the Feedback Assistant app on your iPhone, which you can use to send notes directly to Apple.

Apple may be playing its gatekeeper card a little too closely where Spotify is concerned.

The audio streaming provider said Apple is making it harder for the streaming music company to compete by blocking a new version of its iPhone app.

In a letter sent this week to Apple’s top lawyer, Spotify says Apple is “causing grave harm to Spotify and its customers” by rejecting an update to Spotify’s iOS app.

The letter stated that Apple had turned down the new version of the Spotify app while citing “business model rules” and demanded that Spotify use Apple’s billing system if “Spotify wants to use the app to acquire new customers and sell subscriptions.”

It’s deeply technical, but it’s worth the read.
