Amidst the chaos of Steve Jobs’ open letter regarding digital rights management software in the online music world and the ensuing fallout from both sides of the issue, we wanted to know what you make of of the question at hand. Does digital rights management genuinely change the way you buy music online and what would you like to see changed?

Would removing DRM protection from music purchased online change your buying habits?
Yes, I’d buy more music online.
I’d definitely buy less music online.
I don’t mind DRMs, but I want them to be open standards.
I don’t usually buy music online.

Given the hype, attention and overall speculation regarding Apple’s iPhone, we thought it was time to put the question to our readers: do you plan to buy this thing when it’s released?

Will You Buy an iPhone?
I’ll be camping outside the Apple Store to get one.
I want to wait a few weeks to see how it goes.
I want to wait a few months.
I’ll only buy one if they open it up to my carrier.
It needs to be able to run third party applications before I buy one.
I’m happy with the phone I have now.
There’s no way I’m buying one.

Has the introduction of Intel’s 45 nanometer “Penryn” chips, due later this year, made you reconsider getting a Mac or delaying your purcase?
Definitely.
No, I still plan to buy a Mac soon.
I’m going to wait a few weeks/months and see.
I’m going with an AMD-based PC given the new information.
