As of now, it’s been said that Taiwanese touch panel makers General Interface Solution and TPK will share production of a third-generation “4K” iPad Air set to debut in March.

The same sources claim that in addition to a 4K resolution touch panel, Apple’s new 9.7-inch tablet will feature up to 4GB RAM and improved battery life, and is scheduled to enter mass production in the second quarter of 2016.

This is according to a research note published by noted KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo that predicts that two 5.5-inch versions of the “iPhone 7 Plus” are in development, one with a single iSight rear-facing camera and another boasting a dual-camera design.

The rumored iPhone 7 Plus model with a dual-lens camera system would take advantage of imaging algorithms that Apple acquired through its purchase of Israeli camera technology company LinX Imaging last year.

Apple had apparently considered placing some orders with Foxconn, its main manufacturing partner, but volumes aren’t expected to be that high according to supply chain sources. Both Quanta and Foxconn refused to comment on the matter.

This could put a crimp in the Titan project/Apple’s car plans.

The current rumor has it that Apple’s Steve Zadesky, who is said to be leading Apple’s ‘Titan’ project, is leaving the company.

Zadesky is apparently leaving for personal reasons and not due to performance-related issues.

While this is a setback, it’s unknown as to how deep the impact of his departure will be and if a replacement is being groomed to take over.

From one perspective, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

From the other, Samsung could just file this into the realm of legal arguments it’s had and is having with Apple.

Samsung seems to be copying the Live Photos feature found on the iPhone 6s. A new feature which shoots short video clips before and after a photo is taken appears to be surfacing from Samsung. A new rumor claims that Samsung could be first out the gate with a similar software feature for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and all its variants. Still in development, the feature could be dubbed either “Vivid Photo” or “Timeless Photo,” with Samsung allegedly rushing to get this out the door in time for the Galaxy S7’s debut in a few short weeks.
