You’ll be able to buy an iPhone in Indonesia come the end of the month.

Apple is reportedly on track to resume sales of the handset within the country, following a roughly two-year period during which sourcing requirements kept the device off the local market.

The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus as well as the 6s series will go on sale through six retailers on March 31. In some cases, people should already be able to sign up for pre-orders.

This qualifies as one of the coolest iOS shortcuts I’ve heard about in a while.

For people who want to close all their Safari tabs at once, you can pull this off on your iOS device by pressing and holding the new tab (double square) button.

That’s it, it offers to close all your open Safari tabs at once and saves a giant headache in the process.

And if that’s not spiffy, nothing is.

Chaffetz later walked his comment back a bit, but the satirical video is here to stay…

The next generation of iPhone could feature a pretty dead sexy new graphics processor.

The Furian architecture is stated to offer up to a 70 to 90 percent improvement in real-world gaming performance by density, including 35 percent better shader performance and 80 percent better fill rate, compared to a similar sized and clocked Series7XT Plus GPU based on current-generation PowerVR Rogue architecture.

This is pretty much one for the ages.

WikiLeaks has released more than 8,700 documents that have apparently originated from the CIA’s Center for Cyber Intelligence, with some of the leaks saying the agency had 24 “weaponized” and previously undisclosed exploits for the Android operating system as of 2016.

Some of the Android-specific exploits were developed by the CIA, while others hailed from the U.S. National Security Agency, U.K. intelligence agency GCHQ, and cyber arms dealers.

Among the smartphone-related tools developed by the CIA were assets that allow the agency to bypass encryption found in WhatsApp, Confide and other applications known to use encryption. These tools, according to WikiLeaks analysis, capture audio and message traffic before encryption has a chance to be applied.

Rumor: All three 2017 iPhone models to feature Lightning port with USB-C fast charging

It’s thought that all three upcoming iPhones will both retain the Lightning connectors but add USB-C Power Delivery for faster charging. The rumors currently state that Apple will release an all-new OLED model with a larger L-shaped battery and updated 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models, according to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

Kuo offered the following comment in his most recent note:

New 2H17 models may all support fast charging. We believe all three new iPhones launching in 2H17 will support fast charging by the adoption of Type-C Power Delivery technology (while still retaining the Lightning port). A key technical challenge lies with ensuring product safety and stable data transmission during a fast charge. In order to achieve that goal, we think Apple will adopt TI’s power management and Cypress’s Power Delivery chip solutions for the new iPhone models. We note the OLED version may have a faster charging speed thanks to a 2-cell L shaped battery pack design.

When you task more than 1,000 engineers towards something, odds are it’ll get done.

A UBS research note states that Apple is believed to have more than 1,000 engineers working on an augmented reality project, and that the company’s first AR offering may be seen in the iPhone 8.

A group of sources has stated that Apple may over over 1,000 engineers working on an AR-related project in Israel. The project may include “moderate 3D mapping … and possibly an AR software development kit,” according to the note.
