So I have this 14″ iBook. Nice and quiet other than the HD. Now I have this new 17″ PowerBook. *HISS HISS HISS* I feel like I’m living with Salazar Slytherin! I know people keep saying “this is normal”. So here’s what I want to know? Why doesn’t it hiss if I reduce the CPU performance!? Is anyone else annoyed as hell with this!? I had the problem Jason described on my Powerbook 17″ a few days after I purchased it. The marks on mine are most pronounced in the front right hand corner of the case. In my case, a cloth dampened with plain tap water took the marks right off. Ed: Keep us posted, folks, on how these marks are developing for you. -PK
