Just as it did prior to the release of the iPod, CNN reports Apple has sent out a mysterious invitation to the press. This time, Apple promises on January 7, 2002 at Macworld San Francisco it will release a “innovative, revolutionary, and different” product for “worldwide release” that is “powerful, user-friendly, and eye-catching” and will have “enormous impact.”
What’s beautiful about this is that this description can fit anything you want to. Best money is on a flat-panel iMac, but other than that, let the rumors fly. Just don’t expect to see an overhyped personal transportation device says Go2Mac staff.
