Last week, we reported (“Update: Yes, It’s Copper… Maybe“) that the G3 processors inside Revision D iMacs were manufactured with a copper process, rather than the traditional aluminum process. It turns out we weren’t exactly right, according to our objective readers. A large number of Revision D iMac owners wrote in to say that their G3 processors were aluminum, not copper. But, a very small number of Revision D iMac owners noted that their processors were copper. Imperial conspiracy devised by Senator Jobs?
