Customize Your Mobile Phone

These types of customization options (graphical banners, ring tones, etc.) are available with some mobile phone providers in the U.S. but not with VoiceStream, Go2Mac.com’s current provider of record. Voicestream only allows you to purchase ring tones directly from them. Blasphemy!

There are some cool hacks and mods out there for mobile phones, but some providers want to block your ability to customize your phone. Look into your options before signing that contract.

Check out some of the cool Palm applications on available on the Web (specifically MonkeyPak, by Primate systems) that allow you to send hacks from your Palm to your phone via infrared.
