On Thursday, Data Rescue 3, Prosoft Engineering’s data rescue and recovery program, was updated to version 3.2.2. The new version, a 13.6 megabyte download, features the following fixes and changes:
– Added OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion compatibility.
– Added a newly designed application icon.
– Added support for recovering MIDI audio files.
– Added date to JPEG file names for those that contain EXIF metadata.
– Added an “Open With” contextual menu for scan results.
Data Rescue 3.2.2 retails for US$99 and requires Mac OS X 10.4.11 or later to install and run.
