As previously reported on Go2Mac, PowerLogix has updated its Web site to include information on the forthcoming BlueChip G4 upgrade card for the Wallstreet I, Wallstreet II (PDQ), and Lombard PowerBook G3 models. The 500 MHz upgrade costs US$549 and should be shipping by Christmas.
Updated 12 December:
The BlueChip G4 product page now has updated OS requirements: “BlueChip G4 and BlueChip LS G4 are currently only compatible with OS 10.x.” Another note says that 128 MB RAM is also required.
