Elecom Optical Mouse With Blue LED


The Apple Pro Mouse set Mac users ablaze in an optical red glow last summer after its announcement at Macworld Expo 2000 in New York. Sure Microsoft beat them to the punch with the Intellimouse Explorer, and there have been plenty of optical mice before it, but did you know that the optical sensor does not have to be red? Well, it doesn’t have to be.

Check out the latest in optical mouse technology from Elecom in Japan.

I picked up this little beauty whilst traveling through my favorite part of Japan during Macworld Expo Tokyo 2001 – Akihabara (a.k.a. “Electric Town”). Actually, I traded for it with the venerable CrazyTokyo who bought it in Akihabara…

Other colors are available (including green) but price and availability remain a mystery. We are researching both and will report back with the juice.
