Black Friday and Cyber Monday are almost upon us.
That being said, Forbes’ Gordon Kelly has put together a list of shopping tips to help you save this year.
The guide veers away from the Apple Store, which typically doesn’t offer enormous savings, and focuses heavily on Walmart, Best Buy, Target, Kohl’s and Sam’s Club. In the case of Kohl’s, Kelly points out that Kohl’s Cash helps provide additional savings, especially after you’ve spent a given amount of money within the store.
Kelly also points out that there are savings to be had through B&H Photo Video, MacMall, and Newegg.
Within his guide, Kelly notes that Amazon offers free shipping for Prime members for this, even if they just use the trial, Walmart offers free 2-day shipping if you spend $35 or more and both Best Buy and Target offer free shipping on everything. Be wary of smaller merchant shipping costs, especially as some offer Apple products at slightly reduced prices to get a sales but this doesn’t account for shipping.
