Mired in spam and don’t know what to do with it? Forward it to Uncle Sam. The United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is cracking down on spam, especially the type that involves fraud, and they would like your help. They are asking you to forward any unsolicited commercial email (UCE) to this email address: uce@ftc.gov. They are mostly interested in scams of a financial nature, but it wouldn’t hurt to forward all your spam to the FTC. More background can be found on the FTC Web site and on CNet.
