G4 Still Won't Ship to Most Countries

The United States recently relaxed the export controls that prohibited the export of the G4, classifying its speed as that of a supercomputer and therefore breaching national security. Even though this restriction has been lifted, citizens in approximately 50 countries such as Russia, India, China, Israel and Pakistan won’t be able to buy the G4, according to reports on News.com. Apple has decided not to ship to those countries, even though security has been relaxed, citing red tape and legal and political headaches as its reasons. Could it be that they simply don’t want to give up those cool G4 tank ads?
