We received a note from a source that Boca Research quietly laid off all but eight employees last week. Technical Support was transferred to Boca Raton, Florida in August. The Bordeaux Drive facility is reportedly being closed and new facilities for the remaining employees, in the sales and engineering departments, is being sought.
It remains to be seen how the layoffs will specifically impact Boca’s Macintosh products, but everything should shake out later in the week.
