Google Chrome Beta Arrives for the Mac

google-chrome-logo

At long last, the official beta of the Mac version of Google Chrome has arrived. The beta, a 17.6 megabyte download, is the current version of Google’s speedy, home-brewed web browser, which until now has been available only for the Windows operating systems.

The beta requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later to install and run.

If you’ve played with it and have an opinion, let us know what you think in the comments.

What’s on your mind…Well I have a Mac and I love it. I also had a windows computer which I installed Google Chrome on. On my Mac, this browser is really fast, which is cool. I just can’t seem to find the Chrome homepage for Mac.

Also, I agree with Dan (below) who said its a shame that Mac users have to come in second to Googles priorities. 🙁

Just what we need, another browser. Shame that Mac users come a distance second in terms of Google priorities.

So far I love it! I miss the cool startup/preview page on Safari, but I love the speed and integrated search/address bar. I look forward to move improvements! 🙂
