A nifty thing just got a hefty upgrade.

The Google Translate app, which previously allowed you to visually translate printed text in seven languages, has now been updated to 20 more languages, for a total of 27. The app also allows for real-time voice translations with greater fluidity.

The app now supports English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish and users can now translate to and from English and Bulgarian, Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Filipino, Finnish, Hungarian, Indonesian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Slovak, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian.

Google Translate is available for free and requires iOS 7.0 or later to install and run.
