Guerrilla cyber-attacks seem to be on the rise in the wake of a recent crack down on crackers that began nationwide early last week.. To date, the FBI has been shut down for extensive periods of time due to denial of service attacks launched by various groups which have been claiming responsibility. Other federal sites such as the White House and Senate have seen their share of cyber-shenanigans, by groups such as Global Hell, as a result of arrests of high profile members of the hacker community.
In other cyber warfare news, reports have been circulating that the CIA has been considering tampering with Slobodan Milosevic’s bank accounts which are held worldwide. The federal government has issued no statement on these reports, nor has anyone articulated any opinions on which international laws would allow such actions.
