Hacking the Sony Ericsson k750i

Sony Ericsson k750iI have been using Sony Ericsson phones with my Aluminum PowerBook for about two years now, from the T6810, K700i and now the K750i. I find S/// phones the best phone for Mac users as it’s almost completely built for it.
I use PhoneAgent for syncing and controlling my K750i. It does great things like:
– Backup up of my address book and SIM card address book.
– Creation of themes
– SMS and MMS creation via OS X
– and a few other features, too…

I also use a program called SyncTunes to sync my iTunes to the MP3 folder on the K7050i it also has a function for importing Podcasts for the K750i.
I use iSync only for calendar syncs as I find the Address Book sync doesn’t work reliably with my address book configuration.
The only thing I wish I could find is a USB client for the K750i to be able to upgrade its firmware. Currently I have to use a PC and the supplied USB cable to to update or modify the firmware.
The k750i is a great phone since you can upgrade its firmware to the W800 walkman phone software without having to have that ugly orange phone. Some have even said that they can upgrade the k700i (although I don’t see the interest with its limited memory) firmware to the k750i and W800 firmware. I suspect it wouldn’t be that hard for a programmer to create such a client but I figure there needs to be some motivation for them to create it.
