  • PocketMac.net [US$50] allows Mac users to connect to PocketPC handhelds.
  • PowerBook G4 and Paint Chipping – Some readers have emailed me about the white paint on the accent color of their TiBooks chipping, especially on the edges where it meets the ti-colored palm rest. Anyone else?
  • This weekend, format your drive, it’s good for it. I took the time to format my HDD this week (going from four partitions to two) and boy was it worth it! First grab a 40 GB HDD [US$78] and an enclosure from FWDepot.com and back everything up. A full format was cathartic because it forced me to back everything up (requiring a certain amount of organizing) and to find all my current install disks and updaters. My process is to only put back the main productivity apps i needed (OfficeX and BBEdit) on the clean drive then add other apps as you need them. Sputnix was third on the list 🙂 Have a good weekend -J
