One impatient PowerPage reader really wants his iBook, now. So here’s what we hear works best:
- Call your local Sears and CompUSA stores to see if they have any iBooks in stock. Other retailers may have received iBooks, but Sears and CompUSA are your best bets. If your local stores don’t have iBooks, you may have to try further.
- Tell the store that has an iBook in stock to hold it for you.
- Drive to the store to pick it up. Depending on where you live, this might be a long drive.
A lot of people have been able to luck out with a local Sears or CompUSA having some extra iBooks in stock and be able to purchase one on impulse, but your mileage may vary (literally!). Good luck!
