We just got our first shipment of iBooks today (US$1299 and US$1499 models) and we took a couple pics as we installed RAM and an AirPort card. Very similar in installation to the older iBook although this one is much nicer.
The speakers are extraordinary! Also it DOES have the built in microphone! Very sleek little unit and the screen is ASTOUNDING! These are going to fly off the shelves!
[Update] I HAD some in stock this morning, tomorrow’s shipment is still available for sale! This iBook is soooo great. A few quick notes on it: The speakers are INCREDIBLE! Great stereo and the sound depth is superior to my PB G3 (pismo 2000). DVD playback is smooth and impressive! The CD eject key is the F12 and is a little issuish in my opinion. The overall feel of the machine is great and the layout between the keyboard and trackpad is good, and the trackpad button is almost as big as the trackpad itself.
